Business Experience & Results
Brent Valle is a three-time technology founder who has built, scaled, and exited multiple companies while creating impact far beyond the boardroom. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2005 with the acquisition of a struggling business, The PC Company, for $240,000. Within just two years, he transformed it into a thriving venture and sold it to international firm I.T. Xchange for $1.1 million.
That same year, Brent began sharing his expertise by facilitating marketing diploma subjects at Holmesglen Institute TAFE, laying the groundwork for his future as a mentor and coach. In 2011, he co-founded NGage Technology Group, where he served as employee number one. Over the next five years, NGage became one of Australia’s fastest-growing technology companies, reaching $27 million in revenue by its fifth year. In 2017, Brent successfully negotiated its sale to a publicly listed ASX technology company in a multi-million-dollar deal.
Never one to rest on his achievements, Brent launched Future Phase in 2017, a venture designed to transform the results and lives of corporate teams and entrepreneurs. That same year, he became a foundation partner of the LifeChanger Foundation, investing $45,000 and co-leading its official launch, raising over $100,000 in fundraising. Brent also extended his passion for surfing and community by acquiring Bells Surf Wax, launching new products at the iconic Rip Curl Pro, and creating A New Wave surf and wellness event, which raised $10,000 for mental health charity LIVIN.
Through Future Phase, Brent pioneered leadership and performance programs such as Future X (earning a 100% referral score from ASX-listed clients) and Thrive, an entrepreneur mentoring program. In 2020, he returned to his roots in technology by founding Techtify, a company built on the ethos of “Technology Together,” continuing his mission to align technology, business, and human potential.
Certifications & Qualifications
Brent has always complemented his hands-on entrepreneurial experience with a strong foundation in education and personal development. After completing his Victorian Certificate of Education in 1994, he pursued higher learning across business and human performance. His credentials include an Advanced Diploma in International Business (2005), a Graduate Certificate in Marketing (2006), and a Diploma in Coaching (Executive, Life & Leadership) (2009).
Further sharpening his expertise, he became a Certified NLP Performance Coach and Workshop Facilitator in 2010, and in 2017 gained recognition as a FORTH Innovation Method Certified Facilitator. These qualifications reflect his lifelong commitment to mastering both the science of business and the art of leadership.
Awards & Recognition
Brent’s results have not gone unnoticed. Under his leadership, NGage Technology earned a spot in the CRN Fast 50 Awards in 2013 and was later inducted as a CRN All Star for Life in 2017. In 2015, NGage placed 5th in BRW’s Fast 100, ranking it among the fastest-growing companies across all industries in Australia. These milestones highlight Brent’s ability to consistently drive high growth and deliver exceptional business outcomes.
Personal Journey & Philosophy
Behind the boardroom successes and entrepreneurial milestones lies a story of resilience. Brent has navigated his share of personal challenges, from setbacks to struggles, each shaping him into the leader he is today. These lived experiences, combined with over 30 years in business, give him a rare ability to see people and situations through many lenses at once. It’s this perspective—equal parts hard-earned wisdom, authenticity, and compassion—that allows him to connect deeply with others.
For Brent, business has never been just about revenue or exits; it’s about building a life aligned with passion and purpose. Surfing, snowboarding, travel, and mentoring are not separate from his work but woven into it, reflecting his belief that true leadership comes from living in integrity. His authenticity and hands-on journey through both business and life challenges are what make his coaching and mentoring powerful—he doesn’t just teach strategies, he shares lived truth.
